On our way from Umbukta into Saltfjell Melissa sees her first Lemming - so Jakob can finally relax and knows he can go home again after arriving at Nordkap (Melissa promised not to leave Norway before having seen a Lemming...). With good weather and the paths getting better (because there are huts in regular intervals) we enjoy walking a lot, crossing some high passes and enjoying the luxury of sleeping in beautiful huts in Saltfjell. We eat a kings meal of freshly caught fish and picked mushrooms, giving us the energy to walk good and long days. With our hearts singing with joy we get gifts after gifts, like seeing a moose with her calf, finding many a beautiful feather and more. We found out that the campsite in Røkland that was drawn in our map does not exist, so after shoppings we slept next to a stream that rose considerable after a nights rain. From Røkland we made two long days, racing the clock to reach the supermarket in Sulitjelma before closing time on a Saturday esvening, resulting in a 10km march within 1,5 houres, ending the day with a 500m climb (with very full backpacks) to a nice hut, where we take a well deserved restday.
